The annual hydropower and dams conference, Hydro 2019, is held in Porto, Portugal. EFLA Consulting Engineers and collaborators participate in the exhibition introducing Icelandic expertise in planning and designing hydropower plants worldwide.
EFLA has partnered up with fellow engineering companies in Iceland and present their expertise in a mutual exhibition stand at the conference. Organized by Promote Iceland , official partnership arranged the participation, promotion and marketing effort from team Iceland.
Hydro potential
The international hydro community had a constructive discussion at Hydro exhibition about the multipurpose of hydropower, powerplant upgrading, dams and pumped storage. The programme theme was set to focus mainly on hydro potential and development opportunities as well as discussion about environmental and social impact.
