By adopting an interdisciplinary specialist approach, EFLA provides life cycle assessments (LCA), carbon footprint calculations, environmental impact assessments (EIA), environmental management, waste management, wastewater treatment and geotechnical structures. The team combines the latest in software solutions, modern consulting services and research.
EFLA has a laboratory for environmental monitoring and research in the field of water, wastewater and air quality, and is involved in ongoing geotechnical research.
Living with the extremes in the Icelandic nature and climate, EFLA has furthermore gathered high-level expertise and knowledge in handling environmentally vulnerable and geologically unstable areas. The challenges are dealt with in the most efficient, practical and cost-effective way.
