SVN fish processing plant
Síldarvinnslan hf. (SVN) is a fish processing plant located in the East of Iceland, that mostly produces fish for human consumption.
EFLA has for many years provided SVN with a total service in the field of electrical design for power distribution and industrial control, such as power distribution design for medium and low voltage systems and control and SCADA systems for automation.

The project's objective
EFLA has also been involved in project management of larger installations related to power distribution and operating systems, and counsel on energy purchases for SVN's fishmeal factories and seafood processing plant.
EFLA has offered consultation regarding customer contracts with energy sales companies for power purchase and delivery, and been involved with the project management and implementation of new and/or renewal of automation processes. EFLA helped SVN with its transformation of energy from oil to electricity.
Furthermore, EFLA worked on the design and PLC programming, selection of equipment and control devices, and SCADA design for SVN.
