The project's objective

Every three years Landsnet publishes a report on the availability in the Icelandic transmission system. The availability of every delivery point in Iceland is calculated, using statistic on items in the transmission system.

The cost of not delivered power in every delivery point is also given.

This report is important for Landsnet and other stakeholders to estimate the weak points in the transmission system, as well as how much it costs society not to be able to deliver energy on demand.

Environmental issues

This work is only done inside the office and has no other environmental issues.
