Road tunnel conditions online
Software specialists from EFLA Consulting Engineers and Icelandic Road Administration have developed a web portal where the public can monitor road tunnel conditions online.The data is acquired from a central control system database that logs tunnel information. Commuters can now see pollution, temperature, moisture, wind direction, wind speed, traffic data as well as barrier and vent status. The information on the portal is updated at a frequent rate.
