Building division projects in Norway
EFLA has achieved agreements on many projects in Norway, carried out in most divisions of the company. EFLA Building division has several projects in Norway.
EFLA´s Building division and Wiberg, an architect office in Bergen reached an agreement on the design of the approximately 10,000 m2 primary school and kindergarten in Bergen after a qualifications and price competition in which 13 bids were received. The design work began in last February and is expected that the detail design for tender will be completed next spring and construction will be completed in summer 2015.
Work is underway on contracts for a waste sorting station in Stavanger. EFLA´s Plumbing- and Electrical divisions are a part of the design team, and will take care of preliminary and detail designs. The project is through EFLA´s Environmental division, who has been working on several projects in Norway, mostly related to transport and planning issues in the Stavanger region.
EFLA's Acoustic and noise control division is working on transportation projects in Voss near Bergen in Norway. The project is done in collaboration with EFLA´s other divisions. The projects focus is on traffic noise calculations and the design of mitigation operations near and on residential buildings where there are plans to move a road closer to the buildings because of tunnel constructions. EFLA is also working on such projects through framework agreements with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. These include projects that the Acoustics and noise control division and Maintenance division are working on in Stavanger, and are associated with a project that EFLA´s Environmental and Transportation divisions have been working on in recent months.
