Landscape Architecture

As landscape architects, we use design to balance built and natural environments, respecting heritage and character while incorporating innovation, quality, and aesthetics. The result: places that enrich our lives and our environments.

Unique, resilient landscapes

At EFLA, we prioritise uniqueness and resilience when it comes to landscape design. Each project is tailored to its site: we carry out extensive analysis to identify the character of the landscape, its habitats, human behaviour, and client needs. Our designs emphasise blue-green solutions, incorporating hydrology and ecology for natural resilience. We use various leading edge software platforms and programmes to bring our designs to life, including AutoCad, Civil 3D, Revit, 3D modelling and visualisation tools, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. In all our work, we strive to create innovative, high-quality designs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders while protecting the environment.

Data for urban planning

We believe that good landscape design creates usable and sustainable places that people love and that enrich the environment. Thanks to our interdisciplinary approach, we have the know-how and expertise to apply to a wide variety of projects. They include parks, commercial and residential areas, transportation corridors, renewable energy infrastructure, snow flood protection, health institutions, waterfront developments, and sustainability certifications. We've worked on projects at both national and local level, from preliminary design to tender documents and constructions. Plus, we've collaborated on international projects and competitions, carrying out work including visual impact assessment and consultancy in landscape character, mitigation and ecology.

Easing urban planning

Landscape architecture is vital to minimise our impact on the land by balancing the needs of humans and ecology. Our projects enhance human and environmental health while strengthening communities and resilience. We have a clear moral compass, striving to address current global challenges and local priorities through innovative and sustainable solutions. We value authenticity and act with a sense of purpose: we work to improve the world we live in.
