Specialists from EFLA recently finished testing and fine-tuning of the ShipUnloader for EMAL Aluminium smelter in Abu Dhabi.
The ShipUnloader’s capacity is 800 t/hr of aluminium and 500 t/hr of coke. The electrical system of the crane is fed by a 6.6kV powerline. The total power consumption is about 1.6 MW.
EFLA was responsible for the control system testing and commissioning.
